Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, has constituted ad-hoc committees to steer the affairs of the new house.
The House on Thursday, adjourned plenary until July, ostensibly to give room for the bureaucracy to sort out members’ welfare such as office allocaton among others.
For the six -member ad-hoc Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Khadijah Bukar Abba Ibrahim, is the Chairman.
Similarly, Hon. Julius Ihonvbere is to chair the Legislative Agenda drafting committee, while Hon. Igariwey Iduma Enwo heads the ad-hoc committee on Rules and Business.
For the Ethics and Privileges, Hon. Tunji Olawuyi is to head the ad-hoc committee.
