The Kogi state council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Wednesday felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello on his swearing in for another term in office.
The council also congratulated his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, on his inauguration as the state deputy governor.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Kogi state chairman of NUJ, Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh and the secretary, Alhaji Ademu Seidu, which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja .
The statement described the renewal of the governor’s mandate as an opportunity to build on the foundation laid in his first term to transform the state to enviable development.
It promised the co-operation of all working journalists in Kogi state to the governor and his deputy to enable them deliver on their campaign promises to the people of Kogi state.
The statement urged the governor to continue to give attention to state media organisations and that of federal government media houses operating in the state for effective information dissemination.
