24 Kano MPs, 3 senators back new emir, hails Ganduje on appointment

All the 24 members of the House of representatives,  including 3 senators led  by the senator representing Kano South, Alhaji Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, Monday paid a solidarity  homage to the new emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero on his appointment as the 15th emir of Kano in the ruling Fulani dynasty.

Speaking on behalf of the National Assembly members from the state, Gaya said paying the solidarity visit to the monarch had come at a time when he was in need of such a support and backing from them, adding that his humble disposition and down-to-earth posture deserved to be revered.

According to him, his appointment as the 15th emir of Kano in the ruling Fulani dynasty was wisely effected after a careful scrutiny of his blue-blood background and  his capacity to demonstrate remarkable degree of  compassion and commitment to his subjects,  being  moulded in the manner to  be loyal to constituted authorities as his father,  the late emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.

He said, “We are here before you to express our unalloyed solidarity to you, having been saddled with the task of leading one of the most coveted and revered monarchies in contemporary history. We have no traces of doubt in our minds that you would really live up to your billing on the exalted throne.”

Responding, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero counselled leaders in respective positions of authority to wield their authority and influence in serving humanity with utmost vigour and diligence.
