Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has tasked the people of Assakio commumity of Lafia local government council to always embrace peace by living together as one family in order to achieve meaningful development to strive.
He gave the advice on Tuesday, during a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Assakio, in continuation with his re election campaign rally.
The governor asked the community to be watchful of bad eggs among them.
He said, “Be you an Eggo, Alago, Fulani or Migili, let us live together as one,” adding that without peace, no meaningful development can strive.”
Sule further promised to intensify security in the area in order to protect lives and property, calling on the people to give government the desire support to succeed.
He, however, assured government’s commitment towards improving technical collage Assakio through the provision of facilities such as computers that would boost productivity and competency.
The governor therefore, called on the people of the state to support re-election ambition
“I promised to construct Adogi to Asakio road and other rural roads in order to boost commercial activities in the area.
