2023 presidential election: Peter Obi leads in Edo

Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) is leading in the presidential election results so far released on Sunday February 26, 2023

The State collation officer and Vice Chancellor, University of Uyo, Prof. Professor Nyaudoh Ndaeyo, who declared the results said the LP candidate won in all of the five Local Government Areas (LGAs) so far collated.

The five LGAs are Igueben, Esan Central, Esan North East, Egor and Esan South East local governments respectively.

Besides, the results showed that Peter Obi scored 86,285 votes to topple Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar who both polled 18,290 and 15,040 respectively.
