2023: Nigerians want solution to problems not change slogan – Reps candidate

Accord Party (AP) candidate for House of Representatives from Kwara state, Olayemi Jejeloye, has urged the electorate to vote his party and its candidates in the 2023 general elections saying they have real solutions to myriads of problems confronting the nation.

Jejeloye who is vying for Irepodun/ Isin/ Oke- Ero/ EKiti federal constituency in the green chamber on the platform of the party said Nigeria’s electorate can no longer be deceived by those championing the gospel of change mantra saying “people want solutions to problems not change anymore.”

Jejeloye spoke to reporters on the side line of the flag- off of his campaign in Omu- Aran, Irepodun local government area of Kwara state.

He lamented that his constituency had over the years suffered “retrogression” because of lack of quality representation in the past by people elected into offices.

“But why I have come out now is to make real change and that is why one of our slogans is that we are the solution. People don’t necessarily want change any more, people want the solutions to these problems, this is a problem that is killing us all and people want a solution to it. We are going there to do the right thing because we are one of the people. We were not brought from outside to come and take the seat and in our party, we do not have godfathers who dictates and say this is what we should go and do. We were selected by the people. We are the people’s choice and as you can see around you today, it is evident for you to see that we are truly selected and we are the people’s choice,” he said.
