2023 FIFA U20 World Cup: Nigeria’s Flying Eagles camp in Buenos Aires, hit Mendoza May 17

Nigeria’s U20 national team, the Flying Eagles will train in the Argentine capital city of Buenos Aires for a week before they head out to the far Western city of Mendoza, where they will open their U20 World Cup campaign.

It is an hour and half by air between the two Argentine cities.

The Flying Eagles flew a combined 24 hours from Abuja to get to Argentina.

The team plan to play at least two warm-up games against fellow World Cup qualifiers when they are in Buenos Aires.

NFF exclusive match agent Jairo Panchon will arrange these matches.

The Flying Eagles are scheduled to land in Mendoza on May 17, four days before their first match against the Dominican Republic.

The Sunday showdown will kick off 11am Nigerian time.

They will then face Italy at the same venue on May 24, before they fly out to La Plata for their final group game against five-time champions Brazil on May 27.
