A group, ReadySetVote (RSV), has endorsed the FCT mandate secretary for Human and Health Service Secretariat (HHSS), Barrister Amanda Pam, for AMAC/Bwari Federal House of Representatives constituency in the FCT ahead of the 2019 general elections.
The group’s coordinator, Comrade Robert Ach-Ugbede, who disclosed this at the endorsement of Pam on June 222, 2018, said the initiative was to ensure that Pam continued “with her good work for FCT residents and beyond.”
According to him, as part of their commitment to fair representation, the group presented some T-shirts, Fez caps with inscriptions to residents in favour of Pam come 2019.
He also disclosed that since the mandate secretary came into political limelight in the nation’s capital, she had recorded several achievements, with lives being transformed across communities, especially employment for all classes of persons.
Ach-Ugbede further stated that the group was “not out for selfish interest, but to identify someone who can share in the vision of President Muhammadu Buhari in making sure that the people enjoy the dividends of democracy.”
“Pam’s generosity cuts across all categories of people, irrespective of religion and ethnicity; he is a true leader sent by God to deliver the less privileged individuals,” he said.
The coordinator said the group was “not out for financial benefits, but to ensure that Barrister Pam picks up a ticket to represent the people in the National Assembly.”
Responding, Pam commended the group for its interest in her, noting that “people that willingly show interest in a course out of genuine passion are not in the majority in the country.”
