2015: PDP group urges Jonathan to declare intention

As preparations for 2015 general elections gather momentum, the PDP Core Supporters Network (PCSN) has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to declare his intention to run.

The group, which had endorsed President Jonathan for 2015, said its action was based on his “developmental thrives in several sector of the economy”.
A statement issued by its national Coordinator, Otunba Odewale Rafiu Idowu said it has commenced a nationwide sensitisation/mobilisation of people at the grassroots.

“The president’s delivery on the transformation agenda, which has brought about unprecedented performance in the history of our country, in areas such as roads, construction, agriculture, and his total submission to the rule of law, as well as organising free and fair election in Ondo, Edo and Anambra states etc, are reasons for his adoption and endorsement by the group,” he said.

“We therefore use this opportunity to call on the president to response to the call of Nigerians by declaring for second term.”
“We will like to also call on our party, PDP to prevail on the president to run for 2015 election for in him lies our victory and success as a Party,” he added.
