Hundreds of Kaduna citizens attended the first free- traditional musical peace concert organized by Tranquillity Peace Lyrics at Gidan wasa “yan Doya” located at Kaduna, for the re-election of President mohammadu Buhari.
Usman mohammed Gashash is the team leader of the organization that mobilised all the local and international artists from 36 states of Nigeria and some African neighbouring countries to celebrate the victory with friends, families ,relatives and other patriotic citizens.
He said the aim of the traditional musical peace concert was for the victory of President Buhari at the 2019 general elections.
He said: “Baba Buhari is for everyone and we believe in him for a better Nigeria.
We chose to celebrate his victory through organizing traditional and modern musical shows for Nigerian youth and women that participated in the general election ,and this is also to immensely appreciate the effort of all Nigerians toward the role they play in peaceful and credible election in 2019.
Usman said he decided to celebrate Buhari’s victory at a large gathering rather than using vehicles to run on the street like what others in the country are doing.
“We chose to invite all artists, dancers, rappers, drummers and other creative youth to come and show-case their talents in other to celebrate this victory together with joy and happiness and also pray for our dear country.
Usman called on Nigerians to once again, come out en mass and elect candidates of their choice in the next election for governors and state Assemblies across the 36 states in the country.
He warned youth from using any dangerous thing for celebration that could lead to the loss of lives and properties. He appealed to community and religious leaders to sensitize their followers on the need to be law- abiding and maintain the peace
Pastor Yohanna Buru, who is the national president of Peace Revival and Reconciliation Foundation of Nigeria, expressed satisfaction on how the election across the 36 states was conducted in a peaceful manner.
He called on Nigerians to support their leaders with prayers, so that God can help in directing the country through the ways it is suppose to go.
While calling for government support he also appealed to wealthy individuals to open a centre where talented artists could be meeting.
