Zamfara NSCDC deploys 485 operatives for Sallah celebration 

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps  (NSCDC), Zamfara state command, has deployed over 485 personnel for security coverage before, during and after the 2023 Eid Kabir celebration.

The command  spokesman, Ikor Oche, said in a statement made available to Blueprint Sunday that, “The commandant, Sani Mustapha made this known when he presented  the operation order designed for the Sallah coverage in the State Command Headquarters, Gusau.”

Commandant Mustapha opined that the security and peaceful celebration of this year’s Eid kabir is sacrosanct. 

He reiterated that no stone will be left unturned during this holy festive period.

Commandant Mustapha also affirmed that the corps in collaboration with other sister agencies, is poised to make Zamfara state a crime -free state.

The NSCDC boss in Zamfara state command stated that deployment has been made to all nooks and crannies of the state, including perceived  black spots. 

“All relevant units and departments have been efficiently galvanised to ensure a hitch- free celebration,” he said.
