El-Kanemi Warriors head coach Salisu Yusuf said he has nothing personal against his former side Enyimba.
Yusuf left the People’s Elephant at the close of the 2012/13 Glo Premier League season for the Maiduguri-based side while the incumbent Enyimba gaffer, Zachary Baraje, walked away from El-Kanemi Warriors for the Aba-based side.
El-Kanemi Warriors will host the two-time African champions in today’s Glo Premier League match day 14 clash at the Kano Pillars Stadium in Sabongari, Kano.
Yusuf said the key for him in the encounter is the three points at stake as he harbours no personal hatred either for the side or their manager.
“Three points are key. That’s the important thing for me in the game, nothing personal against the team or any other person.
“I’ve nothing against Enyimba or their coach Baraje. We did our work for the respective sides then switched allegiance to our present sides. I need the three points nothing more.
El-Kanemi Warriors are in 16th position on 16 points from a possible 39 in the 13-week of the Nigerian league.
