Governor Abdul-Aziz Yari of Zamfara state yesterday sworn in a former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Alhaji Tijani Yahya Kaura, as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG)
He, thereafter, charged him to be fair and just in discharging his duties.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony, the governor said the selection of the new SSG was based on merit, considering his exposure in governance.
Yari, therefore, implored the new appointee to be focused and steadfast in handling government business.
Responding, the new SSG thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve the state and solicited for support and cooperation of the workers for smooth implementation of government policies and programmes.
