Women better managers than men – Mabel

As Nigeria joined the rest of the world to celebrate International
Women Day (IWD), the proprietress of Skygold Academy, Nyanya Gwandara, Karu local government area of Nasarawa state, Mrs. Ifeanyi Mabel has called on governments all over the world to give chance to women in governance and administration.
She said women have the potential to govern better than what the men are doing.

Mabel made the call to mark the IWD at Nyanya Gwandara recently. She said Nigerian government and other countries should try women in key political positions, at least for once and see that they can do better than men.

She said the negative attitude on women should be put aside
and they should be supported to prove to the world that they can do better.
“Women are kind hearted, lovely minded and they feel the pains of other people just the way they feel for their children. If they are given the chance, they would do better by changing the country and the world for good,” Mabel said.

She stated further that the time has come when women would come out and stand for their right to fight against different vices and violence that has been meted to them either by their husband, society and the world at large.
She said: “Looking for what is happening in the society, you would
discover that women are victims of rape, ritual, genital multination
etc.  This is the time for us to mobilise and call on government and relevant stakeholders for change and also fight for the girl child and fight for our rights that we would not be relegated to the background any longer.”

The proprietress advised every woman to stand for their rights,
believe in themselves that  they can do it and to believe in a saying that said “whatever a man can do, a woman can do better” adding that they should be determined, focus and have vision in what they are doing.
