Without restructuring, fiscal federalism, Nigeria’s woes will remain – Primate

Contrary to President Muhammadu Buhari’s opinion about the agitations for restructuring of Nigeria, the Primate, Church of the Lord, (Prayer Fellowship) Worldwide, Dr. Rufus Ositelu, has prescribed restructuring and fiscal federalism as the solution to the political and economic challenges facing the country.
Ositelu also called on the political leaders to take the bold step of restructuring the country into regions for healthy competition among the constituent units.
The Primate, in a statement made available to Blueprint Friday in Abuja, said the nation must desire progress and be determined and focused to achieve success in every sector of the economy.
“The new year offers another opportunity for everyone and particularly the nation to re-examine her life and plot her way to genuine progress, sustainable development and success.”
“I hereby urge the political leaders to do the needful by restructuring Nigeria into regions for healthy competition among the regions unto better human and economic development. Fiscal Federalism is the answer to most of the woes confronting Nigeria,” the Primate said.
In his own, the Senior Pastor, Trinity Living Church Worldwide Ministry, Abuja, Pastor Emmanuel Adefowora, has said that Nigeria would progress in 2018, noting that the economy would get better.
Adefowora in his 2018 prophecies, admonished Nigerians to continue to  have faith in God and seek His face “with all our heart for a glorious and breakthrough new year.”
He also asked the citizens to deal with their fears, adding that those who seek God would not be put to shame.
“Deal with your fears because many people are afraid of 2018; The reason is because things look like they are getting tougher and tougher, but those who trust in God and walk by faith will not be ashamed,” the cleric stated.
