Wikki CAF ticket a reality-Yakubu

Wikki Tourists striker, Victor Yakubu has said his side’s continental ambition is on the right path despite defeat at Sharks.
The Bauchi outfit were beaten 0-2 by the Garden City landlords in the top-flight match-day 33 clash in Port Harcourt.

Yakubu said his side will not back down on their third spot by the time match 34 clashes are concluded at the weekend.
“Of course, we will bounce back after the painful defeat at Sharks.
“We have a home match against FC IfeanyiUbah to consolidate on our third spot at the end of match day 34 hostilities.

“Other challengers Warri Wolves and Sunshine Stars are at home to Akwa United and Enugu Rangers respectively.
“Chances are there for each of those teams to maintain the existing status quo with victories against their opponents.

“Our remaining away matches on the calendar are at Giwa FC and El Kanemi Warriors. We will certainly get something positive in the matches to further boost our position.
“FC IfeanyiUbah are better off to stay away from the weekend clash as we have resolved to approach the match as a World Cup final.
“It’s a must win match, we cannot take chances on anything that will affect our third spot at the end of match day 34 ties.
Wikki Tourists are third on the 20-team top flight on 54 points, seven points behind league leaders Enyimba.
