Why I quit Oshiomhole’s govt – Aide

Immediate Special Adviser to Governor Adams  Oshiomhole on Project Monitory, Hon. Osaretin Edosowan, has explained  why he dumped his principal and the All Progressives Congress (APC), declaring that “the governor does not listen to advise. So, why will I remain in that kind of environment?”
Osarentin was among the governor’s 18 aides who recently resigned from the administration and the APC over the controversial membership registration and ward/local government congresses of the party.

The governor’s aides led by a former National Chairman (South South) of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria had alleged flaws in the exercise and, therefore, issued Oshiomhole a seven-day ultimatum for its cancellation.
He accused the governor of attempting to woo some of them with “Greek gift” without addressing the issues raised.
“Rather, the governor fixated himself with the aim of changing the political structure that brought him to power.”
