We’ll continue to fight corruption – Minister

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Mallam Muhammad Bello, has reiterated the commitment of FCT in fi xing corruption in Abuja. Bello stated this at the 57th National Independence Celebration in Abuja. He said FCT administration was working hard to make Abuja a dream city. “As a nation, we have come far and our democracy is 18 years. In FCT, we are working hard to improve our health services and our education. We are also working hard to ensure Abuja is a great city of our dreams. He added, “I assure you that we are committed to change this country in terms of fi ghting corruption. And all hands must be on desk to be able to have a Nigeria of our dream. And I want to assure you that we will all be law abiding citizens. “We are very happy that Nigeria is secure and Abuja is safe. We should pray that God should continue to give President Muhammadu Buhari the ability to make this country to be secure. “Th is shows that Nigeria as a whole is united and we shouldn’t play with the security of this nation. And everybody is a security offi cer and we should be ready to secure this nation. We must continue to build upon our togetherness and continue to fi ght corruption”. Senator representing FCT, Philip Aduda, while fi elding questions from journalists said, he is delighted and congratulated Nigerians for its 57th Independence Day celebration He said it is imperative for all Nigerians to live in unity, “Th is shows that we must continue to live as one entity that is called Nigeria. We must continue to love ourselves and together we can progress and make a better nation that we will all be proud of”, he added.
