The White house has confirmed that the United States Embassy convoy in Anambra State was targeted in a deadly attack.
This was disclosed during a press briefing, by the spokesperson for the National Security Council, John Kirby on Wednesday.
He also clarified that no U.S. citizens were involved in the incident.
Kirby said, “What I can tell you is that no US citizens were involved and therefore there were no US citizens hurt.
“But we are aware of some casualties, perhaps even some killed, but I don’t want to get too far ahead of where we are right now.”
