VIDEO: Security post at impeached Edo deputy governor’s residence pulled down

A security tent opposite the GRA private residence of Comrade Philip Shaibu, the impeached deputy governor of Edo state has been demolished alledgedly on orders from above.

The security post has been a regular feature on the road since Shaibu emerged as deputy governor of the state in 2016 as he lived there during his time in office.

Blueprint however gathered that a combined team of police operatives and Edo State Security Network (ESN) personnel on Sunday evening escorted a bulldozer to the area and chased away security operatives manning the tent.

The bulldozer thereafter pulled the security post down.

The development further adds to Shaibu’s troubles, one week after he was impeached by members of the Edo State House of Assembly.

The impeachment followed the legislators’ adoption of a judicial panel report.
