Values project group holds mega rally on polls

The coal city of Enugu state stood still recently as a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Values Project (VAP), held its maiden rally in the city centre.

Its President, Mr Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa, said the rally which was held on March 17 and 19 was aimed at sensitising the people of Enugu state on the dynamics of President Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda.

Okenwa told Blueprint that the rally was specifically meant enable to give Enugu people the opportunity to interact amongst themselves for a clearer understanding of what President Jonathan had so far achieved.

“The people have continued to express their confidence in the Goodluck transformation agenda, and have also expressed optimism that the presidential elections will be won by the president to enable him complete all the good things he has started,” he said.
