Utaka Academy sign MoU with Brighter School for sports dev’t

In order for aspiring footballers to succeed in life and combine their football with their education, ex-Super Eagles forward John Utaka has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Brighter School, Minna, Niger-state  

The collaboration between both parties  has led to the John Utaka Academy moving to the Brighter School base in Minna and will  see the two schools sharing expertise in both academics and football to the benefit of its students .

Vice president of the John Utaka Academy, Usman Chata who represented the ex- international in the signing of the agreement, said the deal is a 50/50 partnership that will see intending footballers combine football with academics with relative ease.

“The deal will be beneficial to both parties as the hundreds of John Utaka Academy players will relocate to Brighter school where they study and play football as class work be and train mostly in the evenings. We went into the partnership because we are committed to developing our youths both on the pitch and in classroom

“We are happy with the partnership and all thing being equal, the academy will excel both in academics and in football. This partnership will make us rise to be among the best in the country” Chata stated

In his response after signing the agreement, the proprietor of Brighter School Mr. Joshua Omeiza expressed happiness with the deal even as he stated that football and academics will teach the boys determination, sacrifice, real live values and team work”
