US Marine seeks senatorial seat in Ekiti

A Captain in the United States of America Army, Sunday Adebomi, is seeking to represent Ekiti South Senatorial district on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Adebomi, who submitted his letter of intent at the PDP Secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday, promised to effect positive change in governance if given the opportunity to serve at the national assembly.

Lamenting the large army of unemployed youth in Ekiti state, Adebomi identified purposeful leadership as a veritable tool to improving the level of youth employment, especially in his Senatorial district.
He promised to offer positive solutions to youth unemployment in his district if elected at the upper chamber of the national assembly, adding that his intention is to empower and re-orientate the youths of his district and channel their energy towards nation’s building.

Adebomi added that Ekiti South Senatorial District needs a visionary and purposeful leadership that can give valuable representation in the national assembly which he represents.
According to him, his wealth of experience and interaction at local, national and international levels over the years will give him great advantage over others, calling on members of his district to consider him for their votes for the senate.
The retired US army Officer promised to bring government nearer to the people based on his grassroots experiences, saying that he was committed to the plight of the downtrodden.
