Borno: Union leader lauds Zulum on roads, other infrastrucural provisions

The Chairman National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Bama branch, Borno state, Honorable Alhaji Ba Mai Mustapha, has lauded the state governor, professor Baba Gana Umaru Zulum, for road construction across the 27 area councils in the state and other infrastructural developments.

Ba Mai also apealed to the governor to continue to extend support for the victims of flood disasters in Maiduguri and Jere towns.

In a press release made available to blueprint in Abuja, the union leader further praised the state governor for his leadership style.

It reads in part: “In areas of road Networks, health care systems, infrastructure, security,quality health care systems by building of health care centers & dispensary in the 27 area councils in the state, urged his members to take advantage of the health insurance scheme in the state.

“Apart from the empowerment program, our members are employed to take advantage of the policy program of the government.”

While commiserating with the federal government, Borno state government, the shehu of Borno, Shehu Garbai Elkanami and Jere local Government area over recent flood , he appealed to wealthy individuals, cooperate organization to support the victims.

Ba Mai also applauded the setting up of the Northeast development commission ( NEDC), urging the commission to develop action program for the benefits of the region.

He also commended the Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, state chairman, NURTW, Alhaji Abba shuwa, urging the citizens paying their taxes to support the state government provide more amenities.
