Union assures health workers of open door policy in Nasarawa

Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Federal Medical Centre, Keffi chapter, Wednesday stated commitment to prioritise welfare of its members for optimal productivity.

The  re-elected chairman of the union Mr. Monday Otso made the commitments in his inaugural speech during the swearing in of the newly elected members of the union in Keffi.

He promised an inclusive leadership in order to carry every member of the union along in the interest of peace and development.

“I want to assure all of you of an open door policy as I will continue prioritising your welfare in order to better your standard of living and that of your family members,” he said.

Otso stated  that his first term enormous achievements in office earned him second term, adding that sincerity and hard work, while discharging your duties pays.

He urged the members of the union to continue to adhere strictly to their professional ethics in order to save lives, in the interest of peace and for the overall development of the country.

Otso  solicited for support and  advice from stakeholders and other members of the union to enable him move  the union to the greater height.

Umar Labaran, Bala Galadima ,Aisha Akinyemi, Mohammed Bala-Yahaya and Daniel Omaga were elected as vice chairman, secretary, treasurer, auditor and PRO of the union respectively.

Earlier, Mr Ayuba Ismaila -Oko, the Nasarawa state chairman of the union while administering oath of allegiance to the newly elected members of the union urged them to discharge their duties without fear or favour, even as he tasked them to carry every member of the union along in the interest of peace and development.
