Trycycle, motorcycle association urges prayers, support for Tinubu

The National Commercial Trycycle and Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association (NACTAMORAS) has called on all citizens to pray and support the adminstration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Secretary General of Federation (SGF) Senator George Akume to achieve a better Nigeria for all.

Its National President Alhaji Mohammed Sanni Hassan, made the call Monday in Abuja, during a special prayer session it organized to seek God’s blessings and mercies upon the nation.

Represented by the spokesman of the Association Nasir Musa Hassan, described President Tinubu as a man who believes in fostering unity and progress as seen in the selection of cabinet members, stressing that it is only through commitment and meritocracy that a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria can be built.

On the fuel subsidy removal, he urged Nigerians to bear the challenge calmly, assuring that it is only a temporary measure that needed to be taken to benefit all in the long run.

“Let is have faith that soon, everyone will smile as the effects of this decision become evident in our daily lives. I would like to emphasize  the importance of law and order across the nation.

“President Tinubu’s leadership by example has been evident, and we commend his wise decision in selecting capable individuals regardless of their party affiliations or religious backgrounds. It is clear that Tinubu is a leader who believes in fostering unity and progress in our nation,” he said.

“We also acknowledge the good history of Akume’s achievements and commendable attitude has touched lives of all Nigerians irrespective of their backgrounds. We understand the weight of responsibilities bestowed on him , and it is our duty to pray for successful tenure as the SGF.

“We implore President Tinubu to continue selecting individuals of integrity, competence and dedication for key positions in the government, such practice will not only rescue our nation but also serve as a shining example for other leaders to follow for it is only through this commitment to meritocracy that we can build a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria,” he added.

The NACTAMORAS President further called on all keke and okada riders to obey traffick rules, and also stay away from any criminal activities and act as ambassadors for their profession by promptly contacting the union or relevant authorities in zhe case of any crime alerts.
