Troops kill 10 insurgents in Muska

Troops of 3 Battalion, 22 Task Force Brigade have killed 10 insurgents in Muska village along Gamboru Ngala Local Government Area of Borno State.
Army spokesperson, Col. Sani Usman said the troops conducted the fighting patrol in the area after they received information that Boko Haram terrorists that were earlier dislodged at Chukungudu and Hausari villages were migrating towards Muska village.
He said troops also captured two insurgents and rescued a woman and her baby that were held hostages by the terrorist, during the operations.

He said the two insurgents were undergoing preliminary interrogation, the while rescued woman and her child were receiving necessary attention pending onward movement to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)  camp.
He said the troops recovered several arms and ammunitions and other items from the terrorists.he added that another army battalion which conducted a fighting patrol to Wumbi recovered 157 rounds of 7.62mm (NATO) ammunition and 37 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition.
