The Tiv monarch urged the ADC candidate to stand on the truth and peace as he sought the votes of the electorate reminding him that leadership “comes from God and gives it to whoever pleases Him.”

Earlier, the ADC candidate, Mr Korapera informed the Tor Tiv that his decision to visit the Palace was to seek his royal blessings to enable him to pursue his ambition of becoming the next governor of Benue state.

Korapera said his intention “is to tackle poverty, hunger and bring transformation that will stand the taste of time.”

He assured the Tor Tiv of an all-inclusive and open administration that “will be consultative- driven’ and that with him as governor, “Benue will be taken to its rightful place it ought to be.”
