Tithing: Argument only for spiritual babies, Bayelsa pastor says

A Bayelsa based clergy Rev. Ken Esekhaigbe has said that the argument for tithing is not for the mature, but for babies, speaking to journalists on the issue he said “there is no true believer that has worked and fellowship with God in sincerity of heart that have a revelation about kingdom principles that will argue about tithe”.

Esekhaigbe a life coach and an inspirational speaker  used a passage of the Bible according to the book of Hebrew 5 to expound  his points “For every one that use milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
But strong meat belong to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

Esekhaigbe said tithing is an acknowledgement not of law because it did come with the law according to him Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek which Apostle Paul specifically talked about in his epistles, saying the “the high priest that has come is the order of Melchizedek, stating that  the high priest Jesus, the clergy therefore admonished Christians to hold on to their faith and make right choice , describing faith as a spirit. “the attack is not on the men of God, the attack is targeted on the gospel of God, they are setting signals to destroy the work of God, and they are using Christians to achieve their mission”.
He explained that teachers before now were custodians to moral values to the young ones, well respected in their society until they lost their places and the
church continued to inculcate moral values now they are coming with their antics “we will resist anything that wants to destroy the moral values of the church ” Jesus assures us a victorious end in all challenges “
