Tinubu’s policies, God’s ordained for Nigeria future prosperity – Clergyman

The President of Pentecostal Sanctuary Bible Ministeries, Prophet Sunday Iyunade, has described the policies of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as God’s ordained, adding that it will launch the country into prosperity in the future.

The clergyman noted that the removal of fuel subsidy, and other hard neck policies of the federal government are steps to be taken to lay a solid foundation for the future of the country.

Recall that Tinubu on assumption of office had removed fuel subsidy causing pump price to jump from N200 per litre to about N1000 with attendant inflation and increase in the prices of commodities.

The floating of the naira had also worsen forex stability with a dollar exchanging for as much as N1500 and above as against the previous N700

Iyunade however explained that “Yes, people are complaining, things may be tough but believe me the President is doing what he has been sent to do, he is to correct many mistakes of the past, the reforms are necessary for a brighter future.

“All of these reforms are to later translate to greater goodness and prosperity for our nation, the people must therefore endure this tough times”.

He added that state government should reduce its over dependence on federal allocation, and be autonomous by looking inward to generate funds in order to be financially viable.

“Many present states in Nigeria are not viable. These states have resources but they are not getting things right. Each state should reduce dependence on federal allocation and be autonomous.

“They must look inward and do the needful so that they can be viable. I implore states to invest and generate funds and be financialy Independent”, he said

As part of his prophecies for the Nation, Iyunade however warned against agitation for the division of the country saying that God has not permitted such venture to succeed for now

“No secession in any part of this country will be successful. Any part of this country using its resources to finance secession is only wasting its resources. Nigeria will remain one, the unity of the country is topmost on God’s agenda and so all distingeration efforts are bound to fail”, he said.
