Tinubu’s 1st anniversary: Shettima, Idris, others to speak on Renewed Hope Agenda 

Ahead of the celebration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s first-year anniversary on May 29, the vice president, Senator Kashim Shettima, is set to lead a high- level dialogue to critically reflect on how to optimally harness international cooperation in delivering the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The high-level dialogue, scheduled to hold Friday at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, has as its theme: “Delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda: Leveraging International Cooperation to Enhance Trade, Investment and Sustainable Development in Nigeria.”

While Senator Shettima will be the keynote speaker at the event,

representatives are expected across government, the private sector, civil society, academia and the international development community.

Participants expected at the event include: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf M. Tuggar, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Atiku A. Bagudu.

Heads of agencies, heads of international development organisations/financial institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, captains of industry and investors are also expected to grace the high level dialogue.

The high level dialogue, among other things, provides a platform to assess, deliberate and identify constructive pathways for leveraging international cooperation for enhancing and accelerating the achievement of the priority goals of Renewed Hope Agenda, through the 4D Diplomacy Strategy and other policy mechanisms of the administration.
