Tinubu reconstitutes management teams of NCC, NIGCOMSAT, Galaxy Backbone

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointments of Nigerians to serve in agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

The President approved the appointment of Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju as the Managing Director/CEO of Galaxy Backbone Limited and

Mohammed Sani Ibrahim (Executive Director, Finance and Corporate Services), Olusegun Olulade (Executive Director, Customer Centricity and Marketing), and Olumbe Akinkugbe (Executive Director, Digital Exploration and Technical Services).

The President also approved the appointment of Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi as the President/CEO of Digital Bridge Institute and two executive commissioners for the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) – Abraham Oshadamion (Executive Commissioner, Technical Services) and Rimini Makama (Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management).

Also appointed are three directors for the Nigerian Communication Satllite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited – Abiodun Attah (Executive Director, Technical Services), Aisha Abdullahi (Executive Director, Finance and Administration) and Jaiyeola Awokoya (Executive Director, Marketing and Business Developwent).

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Chief Ajuri Ngelale said with the reconstitution of the management teams in the agencies, the President anticipates that the appointees would deliver excellent service to elevate the impact of the digital economy sector on the socio-economic development of the nation.
