President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of the governing councils of two tertiary institutions.
The president appointed Kehinde Akinola as chairman of the governing council of the Nigerian Maritime Academy Oron and Shehu Maigari Doguwa, Samuel Isichei and Faisal Lawal Halidu as members.
The governing council of the Nigerian College of Avia Technology Zaria is chaired by Anthony Manzo while Ngozi Okuoma, Durungunwa Abdulmalik, Biodun Taiwo and Florence Toyin Olorunfemi would serve as members.
The president said he expects members of the governing boards of the two institutions to serve with integrity and devotion to the enhancement of their structural, academic, and all-around standards.
