The presidential agenda of Sam Nda-Isaiah

Sam Nda-Isaiah’s starting block is FOR GOD AND COUNTRY. On the pedestal of the All Progressives Congress, APC, this pharmacist, newspaper columnist and publisher of Leadership Group of Newspapers, is coming to implement those ‘resolutions’ that many Nigerians believe would spring them from hunger, stigmatization, despondency, blinking electricity, apathy to excellence, educational decadence, prodigality and all other incubi that pin Nigeria to the slime and grime of her own making.

If I did not know Nda-Isaiah before the town criers proclaimed his hunger to democratically topple President Goodluck Jonathan next year, I would have concluded he was only being intoxicated by the sacks of money which rumours say he has. But the man is a teetotaler. He is, therefore, always sober within the pages of the endless books that he shops for.

Therefore, Sam Nda-Isaiah believes that terrorists and kidnappers should be killed by the law. He believes zoning political offices permanently divides, rather than unite Nigerians. This is why he would never touch the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, even with a NEPA pole. He believes Nigeria, which is presently “too divided” for his comfort, can be united by him by just practicing “justice and fairness”.

Nda-Isaiah declares that “states should control their own resources”. That means that he adds iron and steel to the pillar of ‘resource control’ which has become a virtual anthem for those who wish Nigeria well in her democracy peregrination. For example, he says, “Why should Zamfara State be poor when raw materials are so plentiful that illegal miners of tin have fed themselves to flatulent obesity?
That is not the bottom of Nda-Isaiah’s agenda for Nigeria’s promotion to the Prosperity and Security Class. He agrees fully with the Federal Character formula for national belongingness, security and concord.

Being in his early 50s, Sam Nda-Isaiah is not aloof from the youths, the rulers of our future and its concomitant aspirations. So, he challenges them to insist on good governance by forcing leaders and everyone else to flog our brains.

What else? This critic of bad governance and immorality on the part of our leaders says that restive youths will rest when he creates small businesses for them, instead of rushing and stampeding themselves chasing Immigration jobs. He is still tearful for the nearly two-dozen job seekers who were crushed to death in the third week of March, 2014.
“One small business will create about 2-5 million jobs; these may further create about twenty-five million other jobs”, he postulates. And these will chase unemployment off many homes with iron whips.

“If I build one million new houses, I would have created about thirty-five million new jobs”, he added. But how will you source funds for this wonderful brain wave of yours? Nda-Isaiah answers, “I will borrow from the Pension Fund”! This answer came so quickly that his audience thought he was angry. But he was not. He was only displaying his preparedness to lead Nigeria, and lead her well. This is because he recognises bad leadership as Nigeria’s unbroken curse.

New Leadership. New Philosophy. New Ideas. New Orientation…all from a NEW NIGERIAN, Sam Nda-Isaiah, the usher of a New Era in a NEW Nigeria. This is what Nigerians hunger for AND RICHLY DESERVE.
