The efficacy of prayer

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16

Anytime prayer is offered consistently in righteousness and humility, it produces result. Whatever you feel is beyond you can be reached (Mark 11:24)

If you want your blessings to be released and experience a change of story like Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10) there are forces you must contend with in battle through prayer. The Bible declares in Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
You cannot fight unseen forces with physical strength or weapon, the only way to take delivery of your blessings and remain relevant in this wicked world particularly in the enemies is by constantly waging war against them through prayer.

Our Lord Jesus, the Author and finisher of our faith, illustrating the efficacy of prayer in a parable said:
“There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: and there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, through I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1-8)
Jesus asked “Shall God not avenge His own elect which cry day and night unto Him? “To continue to enjoy God’s vengeance you need to cry out day and night prevailing in prayer. There is no possession without contention. If you are not ready to contend in the place of prayer, you can’t take delivery of your blessing.

‘Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle’. Deuteronomy 2:24.
Every delivery in the kingdom is made possible through contention. If you are not ready to contend in the place of prayer, you can as well forget your inheritance.
Prayer is so necessary to human existence and survival hence Jesus started his earthly ministry with prayer and ended it with prayer. Luke 4:1-14, Luke 23:46. In fact Jesus couldn’t take any major decision without prayer Matthew 26:36-46. Jesus and John taught their disciples the principles of prayer because they knew they would prayer. Luke 11:1-4

Prayer is God’s prescription for restoration.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways: then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14
There is no situation or story that cannot change if you follow God’s principle: change if you follow God’s principle:
1.    Humble yourself before God and man. God resist the proud James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5-6. Make humility your watch word.
2.    Turn away from your old ways Acts 2:38-39, 2 corinthians 5:17.
However, prayer alone might not work in certain cases hence, Jesus recommended fasting and prayer. Mark 9:28-29. This book as inspired by the Holy spirit is a prayer manual designed with prophetic prayer points and bible expositions that can make you achieve total deliverance from every hindrances and manipulations of the enemy and grant your desired restoration and establishment. As you get seriously involved in your choice of fasting and prayer, may the Lord turn around your situation in Jesus name. Matthew 21: 18-22, Isaiah 58:6-12.
