WTD: ‘Bola Ige’ celebrates teachers

A member, Kaduna state House of Assembly representing Zaria city constituency Barrister Mahmud Lawal, popularly known as Bola Ige has felicitated with teachers on the occasion of World Teachers Day which was celebrated on Thursday.

This was contained in statement he made available to Blueprint in Zaria on Friday.

The statement read in part: “First and foremost, on behalf of the Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all our revered teachers, who have devoted their lives to nurturing young minds and shaping the future of our nation. Your commitment, dedication, and passion for teaching are truly inspiring, and today, we gather to express our deepest gratitude for the profound impact you have on our lives.

“Teachers’ Day is not just a day to appreciate the knowledge you impart, but also a day to acknowledge the values, morals, and life lessons you instill in us. You are the guiding stars who illuminate our paths towards success and righteousness.

“Today, let us honour our teachers, not just through words but through our actions. Let us commit to being attentive and dedicated students, eager to learn and grow. Let us pledge to show respect and gratitude to our teachers not just on this day but every day.”

He stated that teachers’ was not only for the Teachers but for all Nigerians for with them (the Teachers) there won’t be any developments as education was bedrock for development and the Teachers  were the actors of education,

Bola Ige further said, “Let join hands together to make this Teachers’ Day celebration a memorable and meaningful event, as we pay tribute to the incredible individuals who have dedicated their lives to shaping our futures.”
