Tai CTC chair pledges liberation of his people from oppression

The caretaker committee chairman of Tai local government area of Rivers state and an aspirant in the forthcoming local government election, Chief Matthew Dike, Monday reaffirmed his commitment to freeing the Tai people from political oppression.

Dike stated while addressing his supporters at the Local Government Liaison Office at Nonwa-Tai Monday, assured that his administration will build on the successes of the caretaker committee and prioritise tackling the economic challenges facing the area.

Dike, a former member of the Rivers state House of Assembly promised that if elected executive chairman, his administration would consolidate the achievements of the CTC and work to alleviate the prevailing economic hardship in Tai.

In a passionate declaration, Chief Dike vowed that under his leadership, the Tai people shall no longer be subjected to exploitation by unpopular politicians.
