The chairman e further commended Governor Idris Wada forhis efficient handling of the programme in the state.
He promised to always make the welfare of staff of the council his top most priority, observing that the inability of councils to pay full salaries to the workers was occasioned by the dwindling resource from the Federation Account, and urged the workers to be patient.
Earlier, the chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi state council, Comrade Ali Atabor, who is also the leader of the delegation, said what the people wanted to see was value for their money, hence the need to execute quality jobs that could stand the test of time.
