Supreme Court vow to jail Jigawa Stars

As Supreme Court FC prepare to engage visiting Jigawa Golden Stars in a re-scheduled week 14 match of the Nigeria National League (NNL) at the Old Parade Ground in Abuja today, head coach, Henry Haggai, has assured of the team’s readiness to sustain its winning tempo.

Speaking ahead of the final league encounter before going into the mid-season break, Haggai. who was elated with a swift response by his wards which saw them claim all three points last Sunday against Kwara United, maintained that no stone would be left unturned as the team continue to aim a top finish by the end of the current season.
He said: “We are still not comfortable with the overall performance of the players. All we are focusing on for now is to ensure that everyone is in the right frame of mind to face our opponents on Thursday (today).  We need to keep up and build on the current momentum.

“Our target has remained to finish at the top. It has not been easy but we are working hard to attain our target. No one should rule us out at this point. Though the gap seems a bit wide but you know how this things work. When you win, you find yourself shoot up and who knows any team can win or lose at any time.”
The Apex Boys will go into today’s game having garnered 19 points as against their Jigawa Golden Stars counterparts who are currently with 18 points from 14 matches.
