A 49 year-old man, Usman Mohammed, a Kano state indigene residing in Damaturu, Yobe state capital has embarked on a 4-day journey from Damaturu to kano on bicycle to celebrate the victory of Kano state Governor,Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Supreme Court.
Usman who has resided in Damaturu for over 35 years said, he has concluded all necessary arrangements for the journey.
According to him, the reasons behind the bicycle ride journey to kano is to go and rejoice with the Kano state governor and the people of Kano over the victory of Governor Yusuf at the Supreme Court.
“Abba Gida-Gida is a kind person who is always after his people’s problem first.I also have massage for him and immediately as I reach Kano I will deliver that message.
“Being a Kono state indigenes,I think this is the right way for me to show my love for him over this court victory and I hope and pray he is going to continue from the good work he has started for the good people of Kano state,”he said.
