Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side, Sunshine Stars FC of Akure have sacked their coach, Edith Agoye.
The Club on Monday asked Mr Agoye to step aside even as they lined up his three possible replacements.
Former champion with Plateau United, Kennedy Boboye, Duke Udi and Deji Ayeni are all potential targets for Akure Gunnars
Agoye was sacked following his side’s 1-0 lose away to Kwara United on Saturday in Ilorin which left they with just a point from the dange zone
Sunshine Stars are 12th on the NPFL24 log and only one point away from relegation zone.
Sunshine have been inconsistent recently and the change in the technical staff could be a way to save the club from dropping to the second tier league, Nigeria National League, NNL next season.
