Subsidy removal for good of Nigerians – APC chieftain

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, on Friday said the removal of subsidies on Petroleum products by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration is for the good of Nigerians

Ambassador Mumuni in a statement issued by his media aide, Rasheed Abubakar, to felicitate Muslim faithful on this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebrations urged Nigerians to endure for a little time on the president’s reform policies.

The APC Chieftain in Lagos state pointed out that President Tinubu took the best decision when he removed the subsidies, saying, Nigerians would be happy at the end of the day as the removal of the subsidies “will be a thing of joy at the end of the day to all Nigerians.”

“I want Nigerians to endure the reform policies that are being introduced by the Tinubu-led administration, especially in the area of subsidy.

“He made the best decision when he removed the subsidy. In the end, I am certain we will all be better with these game-changing policies,” parts of the statement read.

Ambassador Mumuni congratulated Muslim faithful on this year’s Eid el-Kabir celebration and urged them to give glory to the Almighty Allah for the opportunity to witness another Eid.

“Once again, I bid the Muslim community happy Eid al-Adha celebrations. Let me also facilitate our brothers and sisters who are far away in Saudi Arabia for hajj rites. May Allah accept the rites from them as an act of worship. May He forgive them all their sins, grant their prayer requests and turn them into newborns as promised. I wish all of the pilgrims a safe return to their places of origin.”
