STF commander tasks officers on commitment to duties

The Commander of the Special Task Force (STF), Major-General David D. Enetie, has urged officers and men of the STF to be more committed, to their duty of peace keeping, just as five officers serving under the STF in Plateau State, have been decorated with their new ranks of promotions.
Enetie stated this at the decoration of the four military officers, and one police officer, at the STF headquarters.
He said:”We cannot afford to relax based on the security challenges, this country is facing.
“The security challenges facing us in the country, is that which we can not relent in our efforts, aim at ensuring the security Peoples lives and property, and of course the nation at large.”

Enetie explained that the promotion of the officers, makes him feels as if it was all the STF, officers and men that were promoted.
Four out of the five officers decorated, were those serving with the Nigerian army and were recently promoted from the ranks of Colonel to  Brigadier General, and out of the four, three are currently serving in STF, unit of the military, the fourth officer is serving in the 3 division of the Nigerian army. While the fifth one is a Police officer also serving in the STF, and was promoted from the rank of Assistant Commissioner to that of the Deputy Commissioner.

Those decorated by the STF commander and were Brigadier-General Muhammad Magaji who is the chief Staff STF headquarters Jos, Godwin A. Umelo, former Commander Sector 9 of the STF, Elias A. Attu Former Commander sector 8 of the STF, Moshod O. Jimoh of the 3 div of the Nigerian army, and Deputy Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Sani Ka’oje who is also the deputy Commander of the STF.
The event which took place at the premises of the STF headquarters, has in attendance representative of the Plateau State Commissioner of Police Mr. Nasiru Oki, State Commandant of NSCDS Mr. Vincent Bature, retired military Generals as well as wives, friends and well wishers of the promoted officers.
