Stay away from fraud, other social vices, NNPP stalwart tells  youths

A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP), Comrade Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, on Monday tasked Nigerian youths to shun drug addiction, internet fraud and other social vices.

Comrade Ajadi gave the task while receiving Patron award  bestowed on him by members of the Scout Association of Nigeria (SAN), Ogun State Chapter

The NNPP gubernatorial in Ogun state in the 2023 general elections stressed that there is also the need for youths in the country to avoid falling into the pit of getting rich quick through diabolical means.

He emphasised that hard work pays and that he was ready to support the moral development of Nigerian youth as part of his

commitment to the development of youth character so that when they become adults, they would become good citizens.

Comrade Ajadi while expressing gratitude for the recognition pledged support to the  association, saying he passionately shared the association’s vision of character development among young people, especially, in the face of pressing challenges like cultism, cybercrime, kidnapping, terrorism, and societal values erosion.

Describing philanthropy as an integral part of his life, he assured of the significant positive impact he aimed to make to the organisation,

“I want to assure you that my coming on board will bring total difference. There will be a special positive impact by the Grace of God”.

Speaking at the occasion, former Assistant Chief Commissioner on Diversity and Inclusion of Scout Association of Nigeria,  Apostle Adenekan announced that Ajadi had become a member of the prestigious World Organization of Scout Organization, a global youth movement boasting over 500 million members.

Welcoming Comrade Ajadi into the Scout Association of Nigeria’s brotherhood, Apostle Adenekan

highlighted the association’s commitment to gender equality, leading to the transformation from “Boys Scout of Nigeria” to the more inclusive “Scout Association of Nigeria.”
