Southern Kaduna: Reps member reiterates commitment to educational development

The Member representing Zangon Kataf/Jaba constituency, Honourable Amos Gwamna Magaji, has reiterated his commitment to educational development in his constituency in order to fastrack youth empowerment.

Magaji made the commitment at the Second Passing out Parade of Police Secondary School Tum, Kagoro Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna state at the weekend.

The legislator who was a special guest at the occasion and represented by Honourable Friday Iyah, observed that education is one of the best things that a leader should give priority to.
He commended the management of the school for their efforts in bringing up disciplined young officers and congratulated the graduands.
He urged them to use the training obtained to geared towards improving their lives in their future endeavors.

Earlier in his address at the occasion, the Police Force Education Officer, Olubiyi Ibidapo, assured Nigerians of the commitment of the Police in ensuring that sustainable law and order is actualised in the country through provision of quality education to the youths in all nooks and crannies of Nigeria.

Represented by the Deputy Force Education Officer, ACP. Sambo Shehu, urged parents to enroll their Children into the Police Secondary Schools in the country, stressing that the schools provide quality education to its students as well as training into discipline police officers.

In his remarks, the Comandant of the School SP. Moses Yohana Bammai, commended Senator Danjuma Laah Tela for being instrumental in siting the School at Tum, an effort that has provided the youths of the area with good education and Police training.

The Commandant said the school is among the best in the country owing to its performance and strict discipline and innovative training being given to the students.

He commended the Inspector General of Police for putting facilities in order to ensure that the school fastrack quality education ducation.

Also speaking at the event, the Chairman of the occasion His Royal Highness the Chief of Takad, Mr Tobias Nkom Wada, said the School is one of the best things that happened to Southern Kaduna area.
He thanked all the people that were responsible for ensuring the establishment of the School.

While congratulating the graduands, he urged them to take the knowledge acquired with all seriousness and avoid bad friends that would pose as a challenge to their future.
