Soludo seeks partnership with investors to ease accommodation challenges

Anambra state governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Saturday, sought partnership with real estate developers and other investors to develop communities and provide accommodation for  the teeming populace of the state.

Soludo, who chaired the ground- breaking ceremony of Paradise City Estate, Enugwu-Agidi, Njikota local government area, stated that investing in housing and real estate would help to make the state prosperous  in the communities.

The governor, represented by the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Hon. Chido Obidiegwu, assured that his administration would not relent in providing security, infrastructures and other basic amenities to enable the citizenry with genuine businesses to thrive.

“We gathered because of the importance attached to house and shelter. The governor is already providing food, water, education, youth and women empowerment. Our people living within and outside Anambra should bring their wealth home by providing shelter, industries and others. The governor will provide infrastructure in support of the projects,” he stated.

Also speaking, Mr. Chidozie Igweonwu, the publicity secretary of Enugu-Agidi Brotherly Union (EBU), who represented the community, assured of their support to government and private investors with a view to develop the community.

Earlier, the Managing Director, Dotland Property Development Company Limited, Chief Emeka Anyadubalu, said he was moved to site the estate at Enugu-Agidi in order to bring development to other parts of Awka Capital Territory and assured that relevant documents related to the property were readily available.
