As part of effort to compliment the Sokoto state government’s move to ensure adequate security of lives and properties and inculcate moral values on the citizens, Senator Aliyu Magatakardan Wamakko has donated 10 motorcycles to the Hisbah board.
This was contained in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Sokoto by the special assistant to the Senator on Media and Communications , Comrade Bashir Abubakar
The statement said the gesture was aimed to support their efforts in promoting Islamic ethics, character, and conduct within society.
“This generous donation was made in fulfillment of a promise Senator Wamakko made to the board when they paid him a courtesy visit at his Gawon Nama residence in Sokoto.
Presenting the motorcycles on behalf of the Senator, the executive secretary of Arabic and Islamic Education Board, Sokoto, Alhaji Ahmad Baba Altine, described the Senator as a leader who always carried his people over his shoulder through his numerous developments to the nooks and crannies of the state and beyond.
