The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto state chapter, has pastponed the Caliphate 2024 Law Week earlier scheduled for Thursday.
This was disclosed by the state chairman of the association, Nuhu Muhammad, in an interview with newsmen in Sokoto.
The chairman did not give tentative date but assured that the state chapter will announce the new date which according to him should be after the Ramadan period
He said the NBA week long activity would hold after Ramadan period
Nuhu apologised to the entire members for any inconvenience the pasphonement will cause and reiterated the NBA commitment to the one week long activity.
He also said the lined up of activities for the 2024 law week will commence with essay writing contest among its members.
“This will be followed by the presentations of essay writing contest on the topic “The legal, Ethical issues and impact of artificial intelligence on the legal profession ,Which Way Nigeria?,” the chairman stated.
