The Executive Chairman, Sokoto Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Umaru Nagwari Tambuwal, has directed the contractor handling the construction work of the new staff quarters at Smart school to return to the site with immediate effect or have his contract revoked
This was contained in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Sokoto by the Public Relations Officer of the board, Alhaji Murtala Muhammad Danladi Tsamaye
The Chairman who gave the instruction when he paid an inspection visit to the school as part of preparations for the take up of academic activities of the school in the forthcoming session.
Alh Umar Nagwari Tambuwal also directed Acting Director Administrator of the Board, Alh Tukur Abdullahi to order clearing of the complex and surrounding of the school within two weeks
He noted that all the necessary arrangements have been completed only the formal commissioning remains.
The Executive Chairman during the inspection visit was accompanied by some directors of the SUBEB that include Director Planning, Musa Muhammad Bello, the Acting Director Administration, Alh Tukur Abdullahi and other principal officers.
