President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Signature Television, Signature TV, VinMartin Obiora Ilo, has said the television will start broadcasting to the South east viewers from April, 2024.
The birthing of the television station that already has a branch in Abuja, was officially announced penultimate week during the 60th birthday ceremony of Signature TV founder, Mr. Ilo in Enugu.
Ilo who disclosed this in a chat with newsmen in Enugu the television that would be covering the entire South east and beyond, will commence operation in earnest in April.
“We are going on air in April. When we take off, people will know that a television has come,” he said.
The veteran broadcaster who spent many years with Daar Communication, owners of Ray Power and AIT, said the cable television would broadcast every hour of the day.
“It is going to be a 247 news station. All we are going to do is news from morning till night,” he said.
Her added that the station is not going to be confrontational and selective but would give voice to everybody and organisations, including governments.
